Considered one of the 10 best in the world in terms of international tourism destination, the Cancun airport is located at kilometer 22 of Highway 307 and the exit to the airport is clearly marked. The journey of that distance by car from the city center is done in about 20 minutes.

From the United States, the Cancun airport receives flights from the main cities: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, New York, Phoenix, New Jersey, Chicago, Washington, Philadelphia and Boston. American Airlines and Southwest are among the top airlines serving this destination.

There are many transport alternatives, from limousines to buses that go to the city, as well as car rentals.

Airport authorities warn that it is unsafe and unwise to accept offers of transportation from unauthorized ground transportation operators.
